Winter Fashion!

It's winter time! Still a couple of months to go, so it's the time to show off some of my winter outfits. By the way, in case you wonder why I never mention any of the skins I wear, it's because I prefer to keep them to myself, since I definitely don't want to see any clone of me lol! The shape I wear is of course my own creation and not for sale.

I rarely wear bags in SL, but I got some awesome ones in my inventory. Look at the amazing details of this bag for example, awesome isn't it?

This is one of the things I was talking about when it comes to high quality SL products. In this example, a costume from Bare Rose Tokyo.

Let's take a look at this pretty outfit and by the way, it's a freebie.

Here's a closer look to show you the great texturing. I should have tinted the rest of the outfit a bit darker to match the prim skirt, since the windlight settings always show them darker or lighter. Oh well, I hope I won't forget it next time.

Is This The Latest Fad? WTF?!!

I honestly don't go fugly avatar hunting, since I rarely have time for SL anyway, but when I go shopping, especially at crowded spots, I can't help myself to take shots of these species, when they activate my eyesore alarm. These are one of the reasons I started selling shapes, like I mentioned on my previous post.

The funny part was, I was out to check out some shops and I happened to cross some of these examples, which almost had identical shapes. Well the concept was the same: zero waistline, but maximum ass and very short legs, almost looking like midgets. I call it "Miss Piggy on the loose". Maybe there's a secret underground shape maker who does all these shapes and these people purchased a family pack? Is this the latest fad or am I missing something?

OMG! I'm A Zombie!!

I just had a great show yesterday at my lounge, with a wonderful audience and we then had a halloween party afterwards. We hired a "DJ" again after a year, but unfortunately, this wannabe DJ was absolutely wack.

We receive applications from so-called DJs now and then, asking us to give them a chance. I thought, since it has been a long time when we hired a DJ for a party, perhaps we'll try to get one this time for our upcoming halloween party.

Mind you, I had to learn my lesson again, regarding hiring wannabe DJs. The last one we hired, streamed in a very low quality and mono lol! Oh boy, I mean they wanna make money with a crappy set-up or what? I thought since then, that it's better if I myself would just do the DJing myself, since all they do is just play random shit anyway.

This time, the so-called DJ was even worst... a nightmare, to be precised. He played a mix of disco tune "snippets" which he recorded, from all possible sources he can "get" from, on the internet. Oh man. He streamed in mono and even played some shit he recorded from youtube. Good lord! I mean can you imagine that shit?

It was just so horrible and no one came to our halloween party lol! I had to kick out this guy on the spot and ejected him from my groups. He kept asking me over and over again, what type of music he should play and I already told him jazz and soul grooves and this idiot didn't even know anything about music wtf?!

Now if he ever come back again or holla at me with his "hun" shit (I hate that by the way), I'll report him to the Lindens, cuz I suspect that this dude is a minor. He's probably a 15 year old kid, judging his voice, when he attempted to speak on the mic before he started his crap. That dude belongs to the teen grid for sure.

Dark Side In Pixels

So halloween day is getting closer and we surely are gonna have a halloween party at C-Music Lounge (wear your scariest outfit!). Well I'm a huge gothic and horror fan, and I created my "Graveyard of Doom" above C-Music Lounge including zombies for my group members, for some fun and pleasure, but it's also open for all.

You can shoot zombies in my graveyard or camp for a few Linden bucks by hanging yourself up using the gallow or just lay inside the coffin to rest in peace. Check the place out when you get the chance and have fun gettin' killed by my zombies. We need brains!! Arrrrrrrrgh! Well that's what a lot of people I've encountered would say lol!

Unfortunately, I can not recommend the seller "Crimson Shadow", since customer service doesn't seem to be on his list. Well I wasted 800L$ at their store, cuz I accidentally double purchased the featured dress which is Copy/No transfer, due to the fucking laggy moment there during the purchase.

The seller never responded to ANY of my notecards or IMs. Just add logic to the situation - who would buy the same item twice in a matter of seconds if the item is COPY and NO TRANSFER? How much is 800L$ converted to US$, approximately 2.50? I ain't sweatin' 'bout a few bucks. It's all about the principle. You do business by selling items? Then take care of your fuckin' customers damn it!

The moral of the story? I don't care how "nice" your products are, if you provide bad customer service, I'll definitely mention your name here. Luckily, the majority of SL sellers that I've encountered, provided great customer service so far. Most were helpful and professional, and those sellers are where I buy from again, in the future.

Here are some shots of my current favorite t-shirt and shoes. As you know I love the Beatles, so my favorite t-shirt that I mostly wear right now is this "The Beatles" t-shirt, which I got from the Gnubie Store as a freebie. I will also get it in RL for sure.

My new favorite sneakers are my new superstars! OMFG I've never seen such amazing and realistic sneakers in SL! You know I had to have them in SL, since I got them in RL as well lol!

Baroque Style

I love dressing up using different themes! These are some shots of my outfit at my Baroque Party at C-Music Lounge. Notice the high quality of each item I was wearing. Well, I gotta get the best ya know!

The upper part of the gown could have been better though, if the décolleté had been more emphasized by a lower neckline, just like how they wore them during those times, tightening up their corsets, while the boobies looked like they were gonna pop out soon. That's how it's suppose to be. Oh well, you can't have everything, but I have definitely chosen the best items that's out in the SL market.

The gown is breath taking, especially when you see it inworld. Notice also, that there is actually a bird with a cage in one of the wigs I'm wearing, and it sings lol!

Fun As A Noob!

I created an alt recently for a change and I tried to go through all the required tutorials again at Orientation Island. Strangely, there weren't much noobs being born at that time, the sight of confused half naked and bald female avies were very refreshing to see lol!

I thought I'd try on the box avatar and walk around the place a bit. When I reached the "edit appearance" tutorial, I thought of changing back to a human avie and this is what I turned out to be:
