--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Clothing and Layers:

The Gown base is mesh - so please use a mesh enabled viewer! Included is a body shape especially fitted for the Gown Mesh, as well as an alpha layer, which should be worn using the "add" option.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attachment points:
All attachment points are also mentioned, to make it easier for you, when combining outfits.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shoes:

Since inviprims are already outdated and cause many issues (like when standing on transparent floors), I do not include them anymore, but include an alpha layer instead.
It is strongly suggested to switch to one of the advanced viewers or simply download and install the official Second Life Viewer.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tips for optimal lighting:

Since facelights are already outdated and annoying, I do not include them anymore in my avatar packs. I advice you to tweak your windlight settings instead, to achieve the exact avatar appearance.

If you are using the Firestorm Viewer, the best setting for your skin (the one I use for the pictures) is -- Nam's Optimal Skin 2. All picture shots aside from the vintage shots, were made using this windlight setting.
If you are using the official Second Life Viewer, please set your windlight and save it as a preset.
For new residents, this setting is to be found under your menu --world, --environment settings, --environment editor, --advanced sky, --sky presets. Just choose the one that you like best or tweak it to your liking.
Included in the pack is a notecard with my windlight setting suggestion.

***Attention***

All products that are copy/mod/no transfer are non-refundable, so please read the descriptions carefully before you purchase.

Should you encounter any issues regarding my products, please don't hesitate to contact me per notecard with your transaction number or via https://my.secondlife.com/cantell.mizser which is better, since I am rarely inworld.

The Dark Side 2

Here are more shots of the Redgrave Goth skin, that impressed me so much. This is also to showcase this beautiful Barerose Tokyo dress. This is also the first time, that I am writing all credits for the shots, including poses and shoot location, which I usually prefer to keep to myself, to be more exclusive. Enjoy!! (Click on images to enlarge and see more details)

Here's to show you more of the skin, by taking the dress off. Since I didn't know the sim rules at the shoot location regarding nudity, I thought of wearing this League Duct Tape outfit, which came in handy.

I still did dare and took everything off later, to showcase the skin better. I also hardly did any fancy effects on the shots. All I did was brighten them up a bit, corrected some of the edge distortions (would distract in my opinion) and cropped the shots.

The Dark Side

As you may have noticed, I never mention any of the skins I use. I only blog about the outfit and so on, cuz it's the only personal SL thing I wanted to keep for myself (also because they were all bought for personal use). But this particular Redgrave skin line inspired me to write this post.

This is actually the first Redgrave skin I ever bought, because I was never a Redgrave skin fan. One of the reasons why I wasn't feeling the Redgrave skins were, they tend to be more orange. Another reason is that every malformed bimbo with a passion for bling and Stiletto Moody shoes I encounter in world, mostly wear Redgrave. They mostly look the same too. Maybe they all live together in a bimbo camp or somethin' like that.

Anyway, I'm still not a fan of the "regular" Redgrave skins, but this one is different -- it's a Goth skin! It might be obvious already, that I have a weakness for Goths, Vampires, Demons and all those creepy stuff. That doesn't mean though, that I like all available Goth skins. For me to like a skin, these are what I look for:

- Excellent quality. Which means the shadings and make-up shouldn't be sloppy work e.g. nose and ass shading, shouldn't be too strong that it looks like it's dirty. Same goes with make-up. If it looks like someone punched your cheeks with blush that is even too dark for you, or eyeshadow like it was applied by someone who didn't have glasses on etc. And most important is -- no seams.

- Eyebrows. I'm very sensitive when it comes to eyebrows. I want them as realistic as possible and nicely shaped, but at the same time, not too thick. Please don't draw the eyebrows too close to each other. You wouldn't wanna do that in RL either or you'll look like you're angry all the time. Of course one can adjust the slider, to widen the upper nose bridge width, but not to the extreme, just to make it look right. Now if you do widen it extremely, do that with the eyes too, so you can achieve a fish-look-a-like face.

- Variety of skin colors, especially in the tan or sunkissed section

- Darker nipples. If your skin is brown or tan, light nipples just wouldn't look right.

- Hairbase. An outstandingly made one, which looks realistic is of course the non-plus ultra. The best ones in this field in my opinion are LAQ and Lelutka.

- Cleavage options. More varieties more plus points for you.

So if a skin meets most of the above requirements and the face doesn't look either like a 12 year old innocent kid, cutie pie boo boo boo sweety face or a thoroughly over-used slut, then I have to get it.

Now when it comes to Goth skins, breast cleavage and hairbase is of course an absolute plus, but the skin still needs to look gorgeous. Most Goth or Vampire skins are nothing but paper white crap, with various mascara tears running down the face crap etc. like it's everywhere you go (SL fashion is really getting more and more boring). Very little definition, cuz ok I understand it's more difficult to create more details on both very light and very dark skin.

Most also have faces like, ok they gotta be kinda scary, but you see the face and that's it. It's not tantalizing (what a vampire's aura is suppose to express) not attractive and just plain, how to say, well it's really best if they just bury themselves again and just stay there.

So it's actually very rare for me to go "wow!" when I see a really well made Gothic skin, and this time the praise goes to Redgrave. When I first saw this skin, I was blown away. Especially by the one without eyebrows and veins on the skin... it's such an amazing work! And the other one with the eyebrows, I just have to say, that they are perfect!

Here are some outfits I'm gonna show you, which compliments the Goth skin. I hope the shots I took can show the details I'm talking about. So here's for you to see. (Click on images to enlarge)

Woohooo! Another Avatar!!

I recently created a new avatar, well I do it now and then for a change, cuz it's quite exciting to start all over again. You know like, get a cool name, create a story plot (since my alts are RP avies and they live a life of their own) and then go shopping for all the great stuff.

Well this is how I first looked like when I rezzed at the start location:

I'm the one in a "girl next door" look, wearing a stunning polka dot I-wouldn't-wear-it-for-an-hour-even-if-you-pay-me-hundreds-of-Ls dress. Notice the other avatar staring at me, probably wondering if I am really a total noob or someone's alt or just simply out of my mind. Also notice the stupid grin on my face, which I couldn't change yet at that very moment.

Unfortunately, a slut default avatar still isn't available in the inventory. I wonder why, considering that, it is the most popular and favorite look in SL.

While going through the default selection of avatars in my inventory, I discovered this gem:

Now this classic avatar is the famous "Ruth". Female avatars used to look like this, every time SL had its borky days. Some male avatars also turned to this ruthed figur, which was surprising at times. I was so glad that Ruth returned to our inventories, ya know, for sentimental value. She was gone for a while, since we all now turn to clouds, during SL borky times.

With this new avatar, I wanted to create a vintage style avatar, more like 40's - 50's era, cuz I thought it's kinda cool. After going through so many stores, in search for the most important body part, which is the skin (not genitals hmkay?), I finally decided on one of the best skin that's out there, but not telling you which one, cuz I keep my skin info topsecret he he... I'm pretty sure though, that skin fanatics can easily recognize a skin, from a well-known skinner.

For example, most if not all, hookers, sluts, strippers, escorts, fuck-me-now avies, somehow always wear Redgrave skins. I also noticed that most fugly female avies, with distorted shapes and weird outfits also wear mostly the same Redgrave skin (Hana?) and to make it even worse, they throw on some Stiletto Moody shoes with the feet skin color not properly matched. Kinda like bimbos in real life lol! I wonder why they do that? Neither me nor any of my alts own a Redgrave skin or Stiletto Moody shoes.

My reason for not buying a Redgrave skin is that, not one skin type appealed to me in any way, especially when I saw the butt shading --- I just don't like it. Don't get me wrong, my avie doesn't intend to get naked, so it's probably not important, but I sure blog about fashion now and then, so wearing lingerie with that butt, wouldn't be attractive to me at all. Gladly, I don't own and wear one of those, then suddenly encounter all those fugly avies wearing the same one, when I go shopping.

Now the reason I don't own any Stiletto Moody shoes is first of all, they don't provide a demo, secondly, they are just too exaggeratedly expensive (not willing to pay that price, though I can afford), third, there are better ones out there with more reasonable prices, fourth, most of those fugly bimbos wear them.

Searching for apparel and hair wasn't really that difficult, since I'm already familiar with most stores, with the best high quality items. So this is how she finally looked like after a couple of hours:

Isn't she gorgeous?

Isn't she lovely? Like a classic hollywood diva.

I know she's not wank material, but wait till you see her pin-up shots later, when I get the chance. I'll probably inflate her boobies a little bit more for the shots.
But lo and behold! She lives another life (not a third life dumb ass!) -- she's a vampire!! And this is how she looks like, when she goes out hunting to quench her thirst:

Isn't she stunning?

I discovered this gothic skin accidentally and I'm really loving it. I went to so many skin stores, trying to find a gothic skin I like, but most gothic skins are so paper white with zombie like make-ups. I wanted the skin to be very pale, but not white, with a rather strong make-up, but yet attractive face. A vampire has to be beautiful you know.

Of course the body shape plays a crucial role, when creating an avatar (get a C-Stylez body shape now!). That's why not everyone can create a gorgeous avatar, even if they use the same skins I'm using --- trust me. This skin from a not yet so well-known skinner, has beautiful body shadings, which is a great plus in my book.

Most gothic skins are so pale, you hardly recognize the body shadings, and the nipples are mostly also very pale (which I despise). I was really lucky to find this skin, since it's also not very dissimilar to the non-gothic skin I wear for this avatar. I'll post more fugly avies next time, since I found random shots recently, so you can understand what I mean. In the meantime.... blood! Gimme blood! Aaaaarghh!!

Dark Side In Pixels

So halloween day is getting closer and we surely are gonna have a halloween party at C-Music Lounge (wear your scariest outfit!). Well I'm a huge gothic and horror fan, and I created my "Graveyard of Doom" above C-Music Lounge including zombies for my group members, for some fun and pleasure, but it's also open for all.

You can shoot zombies in my graveyard or camp for a few Linden bucks by hanging yourself up using the gallow or just lay inside the coffin to rest in peace. Check the place out when you get the chance and have fun gettin' killed by my zombies. We need brains!! Arrrrrrrrgh! Well that's what a lot of people I've encountered would say lol!

Here are some shots from my graveyard, just to give you a taste of some of my gothic fashion. I'm a vampire for now, to be precised so... give me your blood!! Ha ha!!

Me in my graveyard, waiting for my zombie friends

Me in a trash can full of rotten body parts

Another shot. Nice view isn't it?

A murder scene. Nice axe lol!

Is it feeding time yet? Me chillin' in my favorite coffin.

Hair: Vixen
Fangs: Tes Tiramisu
Necklace: Tickled Pink
Eyes: Fnky
Gown: Crimson Shadow (seller not recommendable)

Unfortunately, I can not recommend the seller "Crimson Shadow", since customer service doesn't seem to be on his list. Well I wasted 800L$ at their store, cuz I accidentally double purchased the featured dress which is Copy/No transfer, due to the fucking laggy moment there during the purchase.

The seller never responded to ANY of my notecards or IMs. Just add logic to the situation - who would buy the same item twice in a matter of seconds if the item is COPY and NO TRANSFER? How much is 800L$ converted to US$, approximately 2.50? I ain't sweatin' 'bout a few bucks. It's all about the principle. You do business by selling items? Then take care of your fuckin' customers damn it!

The moral of the story? I don't care how "nice" your products are, if you provide bad customer service, I'll definitely mention your name here. Luckily, the majority of SL sellers that I've encountered, provided great customer service so far. Most were helpful and professional, and those sellers are where I buy from again, in the future.
