Autumn is finally here and it's time to pull out our sweaters, light jackets, scarfs etc. out of our inventory. I wanted to showcase two awesome items I got lately. One is the Lelutka mesh boots and the second one is the Analog Dog hair. I just love the realistic textures and craftsmanship so I had to get them.
I had to attach the boots to the lower leg instead of the default attachment point which was the feet, cuz the shoes were somehow moving, even if I'm standing still.
This time I just took the shots at my lounge (C-Music Lounge), cuz looking for the right photo shoot location is just so tiring and time consuming. Most awesome places I landmarked somehow disappeared, so I teleport to the places showcased on the destination guide at the Second Life Website instead.
But landing on those spots, you'll find out, that most of them are just so 2006. I mean c'mon people, update your builds already! Flat bland textures, lots of flat alpha textures and so on. I mean we already got mesh now and sculpties exist since a couple of years now, so why oh why?
Cities are mostly just box prims with textures slapped on them. No depths, nothing. Most gardens seemed like they were set-up on 40x40 skyboxes and all kinds of plants just put all together with no thought at all. Lots of them had massive particles and alphas at the landing spot, so using my crappy ATI Card is just a pain in the butt. 5 fps ain't fun.
Well I might get me a high-end gamer PC soon perhaps, I just haven't decided yet.
Anyway, I already thought of setting up my own scenery on my land, for future photo shoots, but it's so time consuming and too much work, only for a couple of shots. Well whatever. Let's wait and see. By the way, stay tuned cuz I'll be releasing a couple of new C-Stylez products soon!
